RARE AND HARD-TO-FIND RECORDS FROM CHILE (South America) FOR COLLECTORS WORLDWIDE ALL OUR RECORDS ARE PLAY TESTED AND THEY ARE IN GREAT CONDITION _________________________________________________________ THE ROLLING STONES “BETWEEN THE BUTTONS” WOW!! WOW!! WOW!!! MEGARARE and hard-to-find original MONO London “ffrr” Records very first press released in Chile in 1967 by Industrias Eléctricas Y Musicales Odeon , S.A. (Odeon Records), licensed from London Records Inc., USA, catalog number LLC-38526, matrix numbers: XARL 7616 at 6 o’clock and N2 at 11 (“N” inverted) in Side 1 and XARL 7617 at 6 o’clock and N2 (“N” inverted) at 11 in Side 2, with MAROON LONDON “ffrr” LABELS!!! Yes Sirs, ANOTHER FIND!!! An authentic very first press of “Between The Buttons” released in Chile!!! And what a SUPERB condition of both cover and record!!! “BETWEEN THE BUTTONS” was originally released in 1967 and the same year it was released in Chile, but like in most of the cases of that period, we got this album with an UNIQUE COVER!!! The cover is unlaminated and is the typical Chilean cover made of 2 single sheets of paper attached (not glued) to a thin cardboard kept together for an outer plastic bag. Paper is very fragile, but in this case it’s in great condition, see the pictures. Front cover keeps the original artwork, with London Records logo at the bottom left corner and 3 circles at upper right corner with “Between The Buttons” (1st circle), “The Rolling Stones” (2nd circle) and “Including Ruby Tuesday” (3rd circle) written inside. Back cover is different, with title of the album and tracklist written only in English, with London Records logo at the bottom right corner and below the logo the “SERIE ESTELAR” logo (Stellar Serie) of Odeon Records, but NO Odeon Records logo in cover or labels. It’s interesting to see that in back cover the sides are identified as “Faz 1” and “Faz 2” but in labels they are “A” and “B”. In labels the album title and tracklist are in English only too. Yes Sirs, this is really one of those finds you don’t see so often, one of the original copies of this famous album released in Chile in 1967. And see the pictures, WHAT A GREAT CONDITION!!! A MUST TO HAVE!!! The cover was already described and it’s in great condition, just like if it was made yesterday, almost perfect, no marks, no writings, no creases, no blemishes, it’s in great EX- condition, with minimal wear in the mouth, edges and corners and some light age browning in back cover. Outer plastic bag is in NM+ condition, but I don’t think it’s the original. The record is thick and it’s in superb EX- or even EX condition both sides, glossy and clean but with some light hairlines and scuffs and very very light scratches hard to see, which don’t affect play. Labels on both sides are in EX or EX+ condition, absolutely clean and clear, only with some spindle wear. The sound is the best part of this record, it’s in strong EX+ or NM- condition, loud, clear and clean, no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), no cackles, no clicks, only some really light pops in the song “Who’s beel sleeping here?”, hard to hear if you are not looking for them and which don’t distract at all. I can say most of the songs play in absolute NM+ condition!!! But I’d recommend a vacuum cleaning anyway. Overall a record with an incredible nice and clean look and an amazing sound quality after 46 years, NO SKIPS, NO REPETITIONS, NO DISTORTIONS!!! Great sound from the beginning to the end!!! Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so HAPPY BIDDING and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a copy of this RARE record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again… Thanks for watching and bidding, good luck and best regards from Chile. _________________________________________________________ We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description. MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records. NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition. EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc. FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler. PAYMENT PayPal (send me a message if you offer some other way to pay that we can accept) Payment must be received within the first 7 seven days after the auction is ended SHIPPING (Packing and Postage) We have an unique value worldwide: GBP15 for weight until 1kg (usually 1 or 2 records 12" depending of thickness of the vinyl) GBP25 for weight 1-2kg (usually 3-5 records 12") GBP7 for one 7” record All records will be packed outside of the sleeve to avoid damages in the cover and all records will be sent with tracking number via Small Packet or Parcel Post services. FEEDBACK We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records. IMPORTANT TO READ We are not responsible for all the taxes, duties, fees you could have to pay in your country, but I always declare the records as gift. If you have some doubt or question feel free to contact us, we will be glad to answer all that you want to know about this item. Still in nice collectable condition. Please note that our grading has nothing to do with the age of the record, we grade all records the same whether they are 40 years old or 1 year old. CONDITIONSleeve: Near MintRecord: Near MintOur grading is strict so as not to disappoint, we have been selling on ebay since 1998 & know how important this is. Grading of records is done with the record angled under a 100 Watt bulb. Scans are of actual item up for auction. All records are packed securely & most importantly packed outside of the picture sleeve (in a plain inner sleeve) so as to avoid seam splits during shipping.SHIPPING COSTSU.K: £3.00Europe: £5.00U.S.A./Canada: £7.00Rest of the world: £8.00PAYMENT DETAILSPaypalPayment within 7 days please. We can only ship to the following countries by International signed For mail: France, The Netherlands, Russia. Please wait for an invoice. We no longer ship to Poland under any circumstances. Near MintAlmost mint. Very minor paper scuffs and very little else can appear on the vinyl. This will most likely have occurred during packaging, or removing the record from the inner sleeve but obviously it had been handled with extreme care. Any flaw should be very hard to see. The cover should look as close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and/or age. Minor impressions to the cover (due to the outer edge of the vinyl resting inside) may be acceptable, however the artwork should be as close to perfect as can be.ExcellentAn excellent condition for vinyl will allow minor scuffs (Scuffs lay on top of the grooves) which are visible but only slightly. The wear should be minimal. The play should be close to perfect as well. Some impression to the cover (minor outer ring wear) but no ink wear. Some slight creases to the corners, but not wrinkled and obtrusive to the eye. The corners can show a little white, meaning slight wear. No seam splits or writing on the cover or taped repairs. VG++As Excellent but with a larger number of scuffs, maybe a couple of hairlines (very light scratch that can't be felt) or a couple of marks. Sound quality should still be very close to that of an Excellent record with only minor crackle in quiet segments only, NO scratches that can be felt. Cover as Excellent but there may be a small seam split on the cover, or a very minimal amount of writing like a name written in small writing or a number. A VG++ record should be an acceptable record to live with if you aren't looking to pay the price of a Near Mint copy. Please add us to your favourites list! Please look at my other items!
